...and memories are letters to the Sun

I don't know what it means.
She never explained.

What if when those letters burn in the sun, they are burned into Celestia's memory?

That looks really good. :)

I love the contrast between the light and the shadow.

I like the work you did on Luna and the moon too. Her highlights and the moon's detail looks great!

One thing makes me sad - those letters are getting burned on their way. Why does she write them?

Oh, I can't actually tell. It's not a planned picture, I did not design or devise it - just seen it as an image and felt an urge to draw it. May only suggest what it really depicts. Something like an eternal flow of time, maybe. Definitely not rejection of Luna' thoughts by Celestia, nothing that simple and that off-character. And that sad. Cycle of day and night, the night being burned by the sunrise and reborn in the evening to heal the things scorched by the day's heat. Arrow of time. Eternity, constant motion and repeat and a smile on her face.
I just don't know myself. She really did not explain.

When I first saw the title, I thought Luna sent Celestia to the Sun.

Very beautiful work.

Not just because it is about Luna, but the contrast and the aspect of it. The message itself too.
