Luna, the shade of your paint is a teensy-weensy bit off from the rest of the sky. I know it has been a millenium since you have had any practice so- "DO NOT QUESTION OUR ETERNAL WISDOM!" Um, I'm sure it will darken as it dries...
Sorry for a delay in reply - had to actually read the fiction. Thanks for it. A bit simple, and with too many direct references to community myths, but, you are right - a warm one. And, well, astronomy, drawing, painting and reading is a quite exact description of my own existence, heh.
As for me, I always sensed Luna as an artistic soul, creative, even though maybe uneasy sometimes. Can't actually show you any good fic in return, did not read much (way too exacting regarding texts), and the only one known to me with similar "artistic" themes (but with music, not painting) is this. Not quite warm, and second part is a bit off-character for me, but first one is more or less ok. Not exactly a recommendation, though.
I'm really happy of seeing your reply again and I really appreciate the fiction you told me.
Yap, I've finished this. A bit sad (but it's fine) and this Luna was based on Season I. But it's still interested for me. Thank you.
As we know, the character of LUNA was based on Luna/Selene/Artemis, there are too many way to write for her personality: adorable, positive, aggressive, or evil, whatever. But the common thing is mysterious and beautiful.
I love the way that you desribe her in your artwork. She's not only an eternal alicorn but she's also a mare with emotions. She acts as a being (not only the goddess or ruler) and as a artist. So when I read that warm article which can make me smile, it rapidly make me think of your paintings.
Thanks for your nice works always and I enjoy these. ^^
