Symphony of the night by grayma1k Symphony of the night by grayma1k
Each and every night
Just come and watch
Right over your rooftops
Splendours you've never seen
Just come and watch
As it all is for you
Performance I give
Just come and watch

You know what the name reminded me off? Phantom of the Opera, Music of the Night. DAMN Now I wanna see a pic of Luna done up as the Phantom singing that song.

I love the Canterlot skyline in the background; it reminds me of places like Gondolin and Minas Tirith (the latter of which Canterlot is actually based on). :)

Judging from the description, I presume this is Luna before she was corrupted and banished to the moon?

Well, I actually thought more about Vienna drawing the background. Because that's a symphony, and world' music capital is obviously a Vienna, and I love that city as such. But I never been there and never seen it, so that's just a background thought, and I designed the skyline completely from my imagination. Glad you like it.

And indeed, that's from before her fall. Now she knows well that admiration of the work might be quiet and unnoticeable, but it will still be an admiration, and that her work is needed for everypony, and that even in the brightest of city' nights someone is surely staring through the curtains' hole towards the moon and the stars, and admires the sky, and dreams about it.
Now she knows.

We always stay kids we just learn how to behave in public. And watching stars is a amazing way to spend time. Seeing formations and with any luck a shooting star. It's amazing to see what's out there while at the same time it clears my head and gives me room for tought.

You did amazing on the night sky. The shading on her body is wonderful, and even though this is not a common pose you managed to really keep her members to the right length. I'm glad to see you're improving with each picture.

Thank you for caring for her so much.

It's funny you ask, I just bought myself a sketchpad. Remember when I told you I had minor insomnia ? Well, if I can't sleep, I'll try to draw something, maybe it will help a lot.

I also tried writing songs, and poems, they are pretty bad. I'm not much of an artist.

Well I think that's canon now it has been depicted in similar perspective in "Luna Eclipsed". Lot of artists tend to do it that way since. Even in Ego' Moonstuck it is like this, I believe.
(If, of course, I correctly catch what you mean.)

No she is not.
She is composer and orchestrator, not singer.
The moon sings for itself, as the stars, and aurorae, and falling stars, and nebulae, and pulsars, and galaxies.
They all have their own songs.
She just lets them sing in a right order.
That's her symphony, her talent and passion. The music of the night.

And she is silent herself.
