Together with previous piece, that one is a small study on difference of Royal sisters' personalities, as I see them. Simple and typical situation - the sister oversleeping her work, i.e. raising the Sun or Moon. Luna' and Celestia' behaviour are clearly different here.

The picture I drew some time ago depicted the Luna' reaction on Celestia oversleeping the morning. Luna will not hesitate to raise the Sun instead, and will bring a good cup of coffee to make her sister' wake more pleasant (Luna dislikes the coffee, she is a tea person, but Celestia loves it too much).

Today' picture, on the other hand, is about Luna oversleeping the evening (has been reading too much before sleep, most likely). Celestia does not want to wake her sister up, and she knows Luna will be upset if she raises the Moon instead. Luna is just too serious about her duties sometimes. So the sun goddess is just silently sitting here, looking after her sister' sleep and enjoying her mere presence, after all these years. Quiet moment of twilight and peaceful dreams, with the Sun ready to set but stood still in a timeless, eternal evening. Sunset may wait.
